Strengthening the economic independence of any state largely depends on the efficiency of management at all levels. This determines the necessity of an effective mechanism of economic management of the country, including its territorial planning system, raising the level of development of individual regions on the basis of the complexity, dynamism, systemicity, interaction and interconnection of individual economic entities as components of a holistic economic system. At the same time, economic transformations should be maximally justified, using the achievements of science and practice.In the scientific works of the journal the theoretical principles of the state regulation mechanism are described, problems of functioning of public finances, formation of financial resources structure, development of the financial market, problems of economic security are investigated. The urgent issues of the region's economic development are the study of the processes of development of domestic business. Much of the work is devoted to the study of accounting and auditing, labor economics, social economy and politics. Also worthy of note is the study of economic security, marketing, problems of the development of the financial and credit market. The authors solve theoretical questions with a concise reference to practical experience and provide substantiated recommendations.
